Goats’ milk ricotta in Sicily
Spending a morning at Agriturismo San Cataldo was one of the highlights of a recent Pasta Grannies trip to Sicily. Forget Taormina, come to this simple farm for grandstand views of Mount Etna and splendid home cooking. Don’t expect fish (apparently some guests do): they’re a 20 minute drive up a mountainside track and a good 30 minutes from the nearest shop. Do expect tranquillity (aside from farm noises) and some absolutely wonderful ricotta
