Ristorante Al Boccone, Marzamemi
Just back from a week in Sicily, doing some research for the book. We had lunch in Marzamemi (right down in the south east of the island) after meeting the lovely people at Campisi, who process tuna, anchovies and the local vegetables. The restaurant, Al Boccone is right on the sea front (for once there isn’t a car park, road or railway in the way as is so often the case in Italy) and the food was delicous. We didn’t see the menu and got given fish antipasti and linguine with bottarga and pistachios. So here are some pictures:
